Every line we draw
has an engineering reason.
Every decision we make
has a manufacturing consequence.

Praglinea is a precision product engineering company — built for manufacturers where the cost of a wrong engineering decision is high.

What We Do

From validated concept
to manufacturing-ready reality.

We do not offer generic design services. We solve specific engineering problems — with documented decisions and precise execution.

01 / Service

Injection Mould Design

Parametric. Documented. Repeatable. Full 3D mould design with complete 2D drafting and correct tolerances. No shortcuts. No assumptions. Every line has a reason.

UG NX Core & Cavity 2D Drafting GD&T

Product Engineering

Turning design decisions into manufacturable geometry. We model, check and prepare every product against production reality — with engineering reasoning behind every feature.

DFM & Manufacturing Readiness

No design proceeds until it has been reviewed against production constraints. Decisions first. Drawing second. Manufacturing consequence — always considered.

How We Think

Our process is not a workflow.
It is an engineering discipline.

Every project passes five review gates before release — because precision is not a result. It is a practice.

G·01

Requirement Lock

Part data, material, shrinkage, cavity count, machine and mould base constraints confirmed in writing before modelling begins. Assumptions are raised as questions, not carried forward silently.

G·02

DFM Review

Draft, wall thickness, rib ratios, gate position, weld line location, ejection feasibility and shrinkage compensation — studied and reported before final geometry is committed.

G·03

Peer Review

Reviewed by a design lead who did not own the project. No design is released on a single pair of eyes, and findings are logged rather than discussed verbally.

G·04

Drawing Check

Datum scheme, GD&T, fits, tolerance stack, component callouts, steel grade, finish and BOM — against a fixed list. The test: can a toolroom build from it without a phone call.

G·05

Release

Files released under a controlled revision, with a change log recording what changed, why, and on whose approval.

Pragmatism before Precision.
Precision before Production.

This is not a tagline. It is the sequence every project follows. We establish what is pragmatically correct before we commit to what is precise, and we confirm precision before we commit to production. Most costly engineering mistakes are made before precision matters. The gates exist to catch them there.

System & Continuity

A project should not depend
on who is at the desk.

Individual talent produces one good result. A documented system produces the same result every time — regardless of who is working, or when. We build for the second outcome.

S·01 / Standard

One Method. Every Project.

Our modelling standard governs every mould we design — parametric structure, naming convention, layer scheme, assembly hierarchy and drawing standard. Not one designer’s personal style. A written studio standard that any engineer on our team can read, continue and defend, and that a client can ask to see.

S·02 / Documentation

Decisions Recorded, Not Remembered.

Gate position, cooling layout, ejection strategy, steel selection — every engineering decision is written down with its reasoning, and with the alternative that was rejected, at the time it is made. Two years later, the answer to “why was this done this way” is in the file, not in someone’s memory.

S·03 / Handover

No Single Point of Failure.

Because the method is standardised and the reasoning is documented, the next engineer inherits decisions rather than a shape to reverse-engineer. We will not pretend a handover is free — it costs days. It does not cost a restart, and it does not cost the design intent.

S·04 / Revision Control

Every Version Traceable.

Structured file management, lettered revisions, and a change log recording what changed, why, on whose instruction and which drawings it affects. Where a client runs a PLM system, their release and approval process governs — we adopt it rather than impose our own.

On Being A New Company

The company is new.
The engineers are not.

Praglinea was formed in 2026. The engineers behind it carry five decades of combined precision mould design experience across Singapore, Malaysia and India. We state the position openly rather than describe the company as older than it is. Starting new let us build documented systems from the first project instead of inheriting habits — and we are structured for a long relationship, not a single order.

The Team

Four engineers.
Five decades of combined experience.

Every person here is CIPET-trained and has spent their career in precision mould design — across Singapore, Malaysia and India. Real people. Real credentials. Verifiable.

Where we stand today. Four named engineers form the core team. One is full time now; three are committed in writing to join on project award, and the roles below describe what each will own on a live project. We would rather show four people who are exactly what we describe than a longer list that does not survive a phone call.

L. Saravanan — Chief Executive, Praglinea

L. Saravanan

Chief Executive · Product Decision Strategist
20+ Years MSc Engineering CIPET

A Master’s in Engineering Product Design from Coventry University, UK, built on a CIPET foundation in plastics mould technology and design. He ran a plastics manufacturing company as Managing Director for seven years and worked as an R&D design engineer in Saudi Arabia — so he knows moulds from both the drawing board and the shop floor. He executes design work directly, and owns client relationships, project governance and delivery accountability.

K. Senthil Kumar — Design Head, Praglinea
Team / 02

K. Senthil Kumar

Design Head
20+ Years Singapore ISO / TS

Thirteen years in Singapore designing precision moulds for caps, closures, medical devices and automotive components, in tool rooms serving global FMCG and medical manufacturers. CIPET Chennai trained, with deep experience in DFM, mould assembly layout, detail drafting and ISO/TS documented systems. He owns the studio’s technical standard, assigns the design lead on each incoming project, and holds final release authority.

N. Arulmarimuthu — Design Lead, Praglinea
Team / 03

N. Arulmarimuthu

Design Lead
25+ Years Precision Tooling Multi-Cavity

More than twenty-five years in Singapore’s precision tooling industry, designing moulds for high-precision electronics, medical and consumer products. His range is unusually deep — multi-cavity tools up to 64 cavities, hot runner, multi-colour, unscrewing, lens and gear moulds, and tandem stack moulds. CIPET trained, with Moldflow experience from that work. As Design Lead he owns the engineering decisions on a project — feasibility, cavity layout, parting strategy, gate and cooling — and directs the execution of them, with the concept approved by the Design Head before geometry is committed.

B. Ganesamoorthy — Senior Mould Designer, Praglinea
Team / 04

B. Ganesamoorthy

Senior Mould Designer
20+ Years UG NX Automotive

Two decades across India, Malaysia and Singapore in tooling and mould design — automotive components, connectors, consumer products and precision assemblies. CIPET Chennai trained, working in UG NX daily, with experience spanning electrode design and CAM programming through to senior mould design. He is the execution seat: DFM studies, core and cavity, assembly and detailing, and engineering change documentation.

Praglinea operates under Angaal Ventures, a GST-registered proprietorship (Proprietor: Saravanan Vasanthi). GST 33CJZPV7683J1ZX. The proprietor holds an MBA in finance and runs the company’s finance, invoicing and accounts. L. Saravanan is the authorised signatory for all commercial agreements.

Our engineers are CIPET alumni — India’s foremost plastics engineering institution — and the same network gives us a direct pipeline for structured, mentored expansion as confirmed volume grows.
