Our modelling standard governs every mould we design — parametric structure, naming convention, layer scheme, assembly hierarchy and drawing standard. Not one designer’s personal style. A written studio standard any engineer on our team can read, continue and defend, and that a client can ask to see.
Decisions Recorded, Not Remembered.
Gate position, cooling layout, ejection strategy, steel selection — every decision is written down with its reasoning, and with the alternative that was rejected, at the time it is made. Years later, the answer to “why was this done this way” is in the file, not in someone’s memory.
No Single Point of Failure.
Because the method is standardised and the reasoning is documented, the next engineer inherits decisions rather than a shape to reverse-engineer. We will not pretend a handover is free — it costs days. It does not cost a restart, and it does not cost the design intent.
Every Version Traceable.
Structured file management, lettered revisions, and a change log recording what changed, why, on whose instruction and which drawings it affects — so the current state, and every state before it, is known and recoverable.

We do not run our own PLM, and we do not ask you to work inside one of ours. We are PLM-concept driven — one source of truth, controlled revisions, traceable change — and we adopt the system the customer runs. Your release and approval process governs the work.

The master record lives in your system — under your control, not locked inside ours. Where a PLM environment is new to us, onboarding into it is treated as induction, not improvised mid-project.
Parametric — and updatable years later.
Every model we build is fully parametric, with its decision history documented. Core and cavity stay associative to the product model, so a change upstream propagates rather than requiring a rebuild. Before release we prove it: the source model is modified by a nominal amount, the core and cavity are confirmed to update cleanly, and the result of that test is recorded in the release package. A model that does not pass it does not meet our standard.
